LockPoint Start a systems audit

How we work

Five moves.

Five moves, in a fixed order. The first two can end with us telling a company the build isn’t worth doing yet, which is the main reason the other three go well.

01

Diagnose

We follow the work through your business rather than asking you to describe it.

You get the leaks, named and estimated
02

Map

The System Map: what to build, in what order, and what it would take.

You get the System Map
03

Build

Fixed spec, fixed date, in stages you can look at as they land.

You get something to look at, every stage
04

Connect

Into the real workflow, wired to the tools you keep, with your team trained.

You get a working system, in your name
05

Optimize

On a retainer, an optimization pass over everything we run for you — usually monthly, never less than quarterly.

You get a system that keeps improving
01

Diagnose

We follow the work through your business rather than asking you to describe it. Where enquiries arrive and who sees them first. What gets retyped and how often. Which handoff between two people or two tools is the one that drops things. Which of your tools has a usable API and which does not.

You get: the leaks, named, with what each one is costing you in leads, hours and visibility.

We need: a few conversations with whoever handles enquiries and whoever runs operations. They know things the owner does not.

Before anything is built
02

Map

The System Map is a written document: where the operation leaks, what a system would close, what it would take to build, in what order, and what it would cost. It is the deliverable of the audit, and it is useful whether or not you hire us. Sometimes it concludes that you don’t need a build yet. You get told that too.

You get: the System Map, and a specific delivery date in writing if there is something worth building.

The audit’s deliverable
03

Build

Written to a fixed spec and a fixed date, in stages you can look at as they land. Nothing is a surprise at the end because you have been watching it arrive. Where a decision changes the shape of the thing, it gets written down with the reasoning, so in a year nobody has to guess why it works the way it does.

You get: something to look at on a regular cadence, and a spec that does not quietly move.

We need: one person on your side who can make decisions without convening a meeting.

Fixed spec, fixed date
04

Connect

It goes into the real workflow with your data and your people, wired to the tools you are keeping, and the repetitive parts start running on their own. We train the staff who will be in it every day, not just the person who signed the contract. Where the switch from an old process is risky, it happens in an order designed so that nothing has a gap — a front door does not get to be closed for an afternoon.

You get: a working system, trained staff, and the accounts and infrastructure in your company’s name.

We need: an hour or two from the team, and a decision about what happens to whatever it replaces.

Into the real workflow
05

Optimize

The system keeps running without depending on anyone’s memory. Because the foundation exists, everything after this starts from a higher floor — the second automation is cheaper than the first, and the reporting you want next month is a query rather than a project.

On a retainer that improvement is scheduled rather than hoped for. In the first weeks we ship changes almost daily while the system beds into the real workflow. After that, everything we run for you — the site, the CRM, the automations — gets an optimization pass usually every month, and never less than once a quarter.

You get: the handover and our number for when you want the next thing, or a retainer with that standing cadence. Both are normal.

After handover

Timing

How long
it takes

We are not going to print a number here, because a lead routing system and a CRM with booking and payments are not the same job and pretending otherwise sets you up to be disappointed.

What we will commit to is that the date comes out of the System Map and then does not move. You get a specific delivery date in writing before the build starts, and that date is what the guarantee is attached to.

The guarantee

Built to spec.
Live on schedule.

The build matches the spec we agreed in writing, it ships on the date we set, and it does what the spec says when it lands. If we miss that date for a reason that belongs to us, you don’t pay for the overrun. Paperwork that belongs to you or a vendor — a signed agreement, an API you have to be granted access to — sits outside the date, and we say which parts those are before anything starts.

We do not guarantee lead volume, revenue or conversion rate. Those depend on your market, your offer and your team, and we control none of the three.
