What we collect,
and why.

If you send us the form

We collect your name, email address, company name, your website if you give one, what you wrote in the message, and your rough timing. We use it for one thing: replying to you and, if it goes further, scoping a project.

That message is delivered to our email inbox through our hosting provider’s form service (Netlify). We do not sell it, rent it, trade it, or add you to a marketing list. Nobody outside LockPoint sees it unless the work requires it and you know about it.

We keep enquiries for as long as there is a live conversation, and then for our business records. If you want yours deleted, email team@lockpointgrowth.com and we will delete it and confirm.

If you just read the site

Our host records standard server logs, including IP address and browser type, to serve the site and defend it against abuse.

We use Apollo.io’s website-visitor tracker on every page. It is a business-to-business tool: it tries to work out which company a visit came from, using the network the request arrived on and identity data supplied by Apollo’s partner LiveIntent. We use it for one thing — knowing which companies are reading the site, so we can follow up with the ones that look like a fit. It sets an identifier in your browser and sends the page you viewed to Apollo.

If you would rather it did not run, an ad blocker, private browsing, or a browser set to block third-party requests will all stop it, and the site works exactly the same either way. To ask Apollo directly to delete or stop processing data it holds about you, use their privacy centre; email us at team@lockpointgrowth.com and we will make the request alongside you.

We do not currently run Google Analytics or any other analytics product. If that changes, this notice changes with it before the change goes live.

What we do not do

• We do not run advertising pixels or retargeting tags, and nothing on this site is used to serve you ads anywhere else.
• We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not add anyone to a marketing list from a page view.
• We do not build advertising profiles.
• The visitor tracker described above is the only third-party script on this site, and it is aimed at identifying companies, not building a profile of you as an individual.
• There is no login and no account, so there is nothing to be breached.

Your choices

Ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, at team@lockpointgrowth.com. We will answer. Depending on where you live you may have these rights by law; we will honour the request either way rather than checking whether we have to.

Changes

If this notice changes materially, the date at the top changes with it.
